Anti-Money Laundering Policy

Last updated: December 2024

Important Notice

Rally is currently operating as a demonstration platform with no regulated financial activity. This AML Policy outlines our current status and our commitment to compliance when we launch regulated services.

1. Current Platform Status

Rally Technologies Limited ("Rally," "we," "us," or "our") is not currently engaged in the business of financial services. The demonstration platform (the "Platform") is a non-operational preview environment that illustrates the design of our future crypto exchange and related products.

As such, the Platform:

  • Does not accept deposits
  • Does not process withdrawals
  • Does not execute trades
  • Does not facilitate remittances
  • Does not issue payment instruments

Accordingly, no Anti-Money Laundering ("AML") or Counter-Terrorist Financing ("CTF") regulations apply to the Platform in its current state. There are no financial transactions on the Platform that could be exploited for money laundering or illicit finance.

2. Future AML Compliance Framework

While the current Platform has no financial services, Rally is committed to upholding the highest standards of compliance in anticipation of launching regulated products. Once Rally obtains the necessary licences and begins offering financial services, we will implement an AML/CTF framework consistent with applicable laws and international best practices.

This framework will include:

  • Robust customer due diligence (CDD)
  • Transaction monitoring
  • Suspicious activity reporting
  • Sanctions screening

We will adopt procedures aligned with the Financial Action Task Force ("FATF") recommendations and relevant national regulations to detect and prevent money laundering, terrorist financing, and other financial crimes.

3. Demo Verification Steps

Any know-your-customer ("KYC") or identity verification processes you encounter on the Platform are simulated for demonstration and user experience testing only. These steps may request fictional data to illustrate how identity verification might work in a future live system.

Please Note

Simulated verification steps do not satisfy any regulatory requirements and do not constitute actual KYC procedures. Completing these simulated steps does not result in the creation of a verified account for financial services, nor does it permit you to transact with real funds.

When we launch regulated services, we will require you to provide valid identity documents and complete comprehensive KYC procedures in compliance with applicable regulations.

4. No Reportable Transactions

Because the Platform does not facilitate real transactions, there are no reportable events under AML or CTF regulations. There is no need to submit reports to financial intelligence units or regulators, and no suspicious activity can occur within this purely simulated environment.

We monitor user interactions only to ensure compliance with our Terms of Service and to enhance user experience. Should Rally commence regulated operations in the future, we will implement systems and procedures to monitor transactions for suspicious activity and report in accordance with applicable laws.

5. Our Commitment Post-Licensing

Rally recognises the importance of robust AML and CTF measures in protecting users, the financial system, and the integrity of our platform. Our commitment is to design and implement comprehensive AML policies and controls when we transition from the demonstration environment to a regulated operational platform.

These policies will include:

  • Customer identification and verification
  • Risk assessment procedures
  • Ongoing transaction monitoring
  • Staff training programmes
  • Regular audits of our AML programme

We will continually review and update our AML framework to align with evolving regulatory requirements and industry standards. Until that time, the current Platform remains an unregulated demonstration environment with no real financial activity and therefore no AML obligations.
